Retail Fulfillment at Jay Group
Jay Group runs retail fulfillment as a compliance operation, not just a warehouse. Your inventory sits in one accurate pool, and when a retail purchase order lands, we translate it, build it to the retailer's spec, label it, and ship it into their DC on time. Seven-day-a-week fulfillment keeps orders moving against tight delivery windows, and a footprint across the East, West, and central U.S. — Lancaster and Mountville, Pennsylvania; Reno, Nevada; and Houston, Texas — puts more than 90% of the country within two-day ground shipping of a retailer's distribution centers. We own and operate all of it. Nothing about your retail program depends on a brokered network we don't control.
EDI and routing-guide compliance, handled for you
Retail runs on EDI, and Jay Group speaks it. Through our SPS Commerce integration we receive purchase orders (EDI 850), return advance ship notices (856/ASN), and send invoices (810) in the exact format each trading partner requires. We build to the routing guide — UCC-128/GS1-128 carton and pallet labels, correct case packs, retailer-specific palletization, and booked delivery appointments — so shipments arrive clean. The point of all of it is simple: no compliance chargebacks, and a vendor scorecard buyers like to see.
Retail-ready packaging built to IGD standards
Retailers increasingly want product that moves from truck to shelf without being unpacked and re-merchandised. Our contract packaging division builds retail-ready (shelf-ready) packaging — trays, sleeves, bins, and display units — to the standards set by the Institute of Grocery Distribution, so cartons open clean, identify fast, shop well, and restock in seconds on the retail floor. That means less labor for the store, better shelf presence for your brand, and packaging that passes the retailer’s spec the first time.
