Kitting & Assembly
Flexible Fulfillment That Keeps You Competitive
Contract packaging is the outsourced assembly, packing, and finishing of a product for retail or direct sale — everything that happens between a bulk run of components and a finished, shelf-ready unit. Jay Group runs contract packaging, or co-packing, out of the same FDA-registered facilities we own and operate for fulfillment, with more than 20 co-packing services, automated cartoning, and a dedicated quality department that inspects the work rather than trusting it.
Why Contract Packaging Matters
A product rarely leaves the manufacturing line ready to sell. It has to be cartoned, labeled, bundled into multi-packs, built into a display, or reconfigured for a specific retailer — and every one of those steps is a place where a mislabeled unit or a short display becomes a rejected shipment or a chargeback. Doing that work in-house means buying equipment, staffing a packaging line, and absorbing the swings between a quiet month and a promotional surge. Handing it to a co-packer that also holds your inventory removes a handoff: the same operation that packs your product ships it, so nothing moves between buildings and no one loses track of a lot.
